Control your Audioflow with Shortcuts in iOS
With the latest Audioflow App v3.0 and iOS 18+ you are now able to control your Audioflow with iOS Shortcuts.
To get started with this, open the Shortcuts app in iOS and follow these instructions:
Step One
Click on All Shortcuts
You can organise your Shortcuts in iOS and save these into folders. Of course you are welcome to do that now, but a quick way to get started is just to click on All Shortcuts.
You can always create folders and organise your Shortcuts later.
Step Two
Add a new Shortcut
Click the + button in the top right to add a new Shortcut.
Step Three
Choose Audioflow
Scroll down the Actions list and choose Audioflow.
Step Four
Choose Set Zone State or Toggle Zone State
If you would like to make an action to specifically set a zone on or off, choose Set Zone State.
If you would like to make an action which alternates between on and off every time you run it, choose Toggle Zone State.
Fill out the details in the action list, in this example we are turning a zone called Kitchen on.
Step Five
Rename your Shortcut
Click on the little arrow at the top of the screen next to the action you have chosen and give it an accurate name.
In this case, we have called this shortcut: Turn On Kitchen Speakers
Step Six
That's it!
You now have a Shortcut that you can use in iOS for an Audioflow action. When you click on this Shortcut it will turn on the kitchen speakers in this case. You can create as many of these as you like for the actions you would like to perform.
You can add multiple actions to one Shortcut. You can turn a zone off before turning another one on and combine this with actions from other apps or HomeKit devices.
You can then run these Shortcuts from a widget on your iOS Home Screen, a button in Control Center, from your Apple Watch or from Siri.
